Park City Fashion Week, the annual spectacle that draws celebrities, influencers, and fashion enthusiasts to the heart of Utah, witnessed a truly electrifying moment this year. As the lights dimmed and a hush fell over the crowd, a model emerged enveloped in a luminous white puffer coat, tendrils of smoke swirling around her like a mystical aura. This wasn't just a fashion statement; it was a declaration. Hannah Gordon, the visionary designer behind this captivating opening act, had arrived.

Gordon's designs are more than just clothes; they are an experience. "The main goal of what I create is I just wanna make sure that my viewers see more than just fashion when they look at my pieces and my collection," she explains. "I wanna make them feel something with the elements and the textures and the mixtures that I put together into a collection. So it's not just fashion, it's more than that to me. I want to create a presentation. I wanna make them feel something."

Her fascination with outerwear, particularly its ability to transform and elevate an outfit, is evident in her creations. "Outerwear has been such like a cool area of fashion for me because I feel like that one standout like piece of clothing that you wear, it's typically an outerwear item that just makes you stand out and look cooler, more different than everyone else around you," she says. "And I think that's what is so cool."
But Gordon is determined to redefine outerwear, to make it exciting and unexpected. "It's like you're wearing such a cute outfit and then you throw the chunkiest, the ugliest, ugly, not in a good way, but ugliest thing on top of it," she laughs. "Yes, I'm trying to reverse that. I'm trying to reverse that because you have no choice, right, like you're in Utah, you're at Sundance, you have no choice but to wear a statement coat or a statement piece where you still wanna stand out. I still feel that was like, oh, my outfit's so good, I'm just not gonna wear a coat, but it's like, no, you have to!
