The Petty Brothers Weave Culture and SOUL into the Fabric of the Mountain West with Soul By Ame
Among the established names and emerging talents at Park City Fashion Week, one brand stood out, not just for its innovative designs, but for the story woven into every stitch:
Soul By Ame.
Founded by brothers Phillip and Micah Petty, this isn't just clothing; it's a vibrant expression of their heritage, their vision, and their commitment to reshaping the fashion landscape of the Mountain West.

"We make art inspired by our perspective and our culture," Phillip explains, encapsulating the brand's ethos. Their designs aren't simply garments; they're canvases for storytelling.
"We really try to use fabrics and materials and clothes just like canvases to express ourselves and to tell different stories through clothes," Micah adds.
This narrative approach was palpable in their recent show, a sneak peek into their Spring/Summer 2025 collection. "It wasn't something that was made specifically for this runway," Phillip reveals, "but we were able to kind of showcase and share an early preview of the capsule that we're building."
The collection, a prelude to their three distinct labels – Essence, Gardens, and Muse – offered a glimpse into the multifaceted world of Soul By Ame.
Essence, their streetwear line, draws heavily from the 90s and 2000s, a period that holds special significance for the brothers.
